You can display a Secondary Menu alongside your main (primary) navigation—great for quick links like Track Order, Knowledge Base, or Login/Register.

This tutorial shows you how to create a secondary menu using the same steps from the Primary Menu tutorial, but with a small change in the display location.
🔁 Step 1: Follow the Primary Menu Setup #
Start by following the exact same steps outlined in the Primary Menu Tutorial:
- Go to Appearance → Menus.
- Click Create a new menu.
- Give it a name, like
Secondary Menu
. - Add pages or custom links to it.
- Arrange the items however you like.
✅ Step 2: Assign It to the “Secondary Menu” Location #
After adding your menu items:
- Scroll down to Menu Settings.
- Under Display location, check the box for “Secondary Menu.”
This tells WordPress to place this menu in the theme’s secondary header location—typically above or beside the main menu.

💾 Step 3: Save the Menu #
Click the Save Menu button to apply your changes.
Your Secondary Menu will now appear in its designated position on the site—depending on your theme layout, it may appear above the header, beside the logo, or in a top bar.
💡 Pro Tip #
Use this menu for helpful utility links, such as:
- Contact Us
- FAQs
- Account/Login
- Returns Policy
- Track Your Order
