This article will help you set up Product Deals, including Deals of the Day, Deals of the Week, Deals of the Month, and more — using ShopWell Addons widgets with countdown timers and sale highlights.
⚙️ Enable Product Deals #
To get started:
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Product Deals
- Check the Enable Product Deals box.
- Customize the labels for:
- Expire Text (e.g., “Hurry up! Sales ends soon!”)
- Sold Items Text
- Sold Text

🎯 What Qualifies as a Product Deal? #
A Product Deal is a time-limited offer. For a product to qualify as a deal, it must:
- ✅ Be on sale
- 📅 Have sale price dates (Start and End Date)
- 🔢 Have a defined sale quantity
To configure these:
- Go to the product edit screen.
- Under Product Data → General, set:
- Regular Price
- Sale Price
- Sale Price Dates (Start and End)
- Sale Quantity
🗓️ Deal Types #
Product Deals Grid / Carousel widget supports multiple types of time-based product deals:
🔥 Deals of the Day #
- A daily special that expires at midnight.
- The product must:
- Be on sale
- Have Sale Price Dates
- Include a Sale Quantity
- The Sale Price End Date must match today’s date.
📅 Deals of the Week #
- A weekly promotion that ends on the next Monday at midnight, regardless of when it’s set during the week.
- To set up:
- Set the Sale Price Dates
- Set the Sale Quantity
- The Sale Price End Date must be the upcoming Monday.
📆 Deals of the Month #
- A monthly offer that expires on the 1st day of the next month at midnight.
- To set up:
- Set the Sale Price Dates
- Set the Sale Quantity
- The Sale Price End Date must be the 1st of next month.
